It all started in September last year, when I figured out I am going to study abroad, so I made up this blog for my friends, so they are always posted, whats going on. Since I am in Detroit I want to extend it a little bit more as a little artblog, where I also wanna post some of my artworks beside traveling. Now I am going to travel around the world in the upcoming months and I am really exited about it.
Who is the author?
"I am a 23 years old design student from germany and very passioned about design and arts, but also very open and curious about culture and traveling.
My interests are: sketching, sports, art, literature, culture, computer games, science and traveling.
Basic characteristics, if I have to descripe myself (I hate doing this), I would define myself as open minded, very curious about almost everything and every kind of science. I also need to challenge myself in those things I am doing and interested in. One of my teachers described me as very diligent and another as very lazy. It depends how much I feel challenged in a class or hobby. An attitude I am definetly working on. In general I love to talk to people and to learn from them and I am also very tolerant and patient, but still kinda sarcastic and humorous. Overall I would say, I am something of everything and the rest you might find out when you read my blog. My language skills are still kind of limited, but I hope its getting better soon and it will be easier for you to read even my english posts. German is defenetly the language I would prefer ;)

Where and What?
Beginning 2008 I started to realize that I want to travel, that I dont feel homesick, but feel more sick about not getting around and not moving. Since the last 3 years I am constantly moving from one place to another, sometimes 2 or 3 times per year.
It all started in the beginning of this year in january 2009. After I finished my internship I moved around visited friends before my plane went on january 6th westwards to Detroit, where my exchange semester was about to start. Originally I didnt planed to go somewhere else after that, but once I realized that I am going to graduate in February next year I wanted to gain more experiences about this world. Detroit at it self made me aware how short live can be and that there is more to see, especially in north america. So I decided to plan a trip through the country, once I got good feedback for an internship in Melbourne, which I am planning since the beginning of the year. My Internship is going to start in July, so it would be a waste of money and experiences to fly back to europe, so I am going to fly directly from L.A. up to Melbourne and use this oportunity to travel across the united states, since I met so many nice and unique people and a lot of friends I am going to visit on my way through the states. I dont know what is going to expect me, but I am looking forward to it.
