Farewell Sydney

Time was running quite fast during the last weeks in sydney. I got some last minute visitors from Melbourne, which turned out to be an awesome weekend between Bag Raiders concert and beach walks. I realized that I havent seen even half of that what I wanted to see in Sydney during the last four months. It took a while that I became a part of this city and lifestyle, but since this happened I feel now part of this place and consider this as my new home.
Since I have been there I was almost every day happy, enjoyed the time I had there. My internship was awesome, i did loved my colleges and work as much as I did loved the city and its lifestyle. No where else I experienced so many different cultures living next to each other peaceful, no where else I have seen a city with so much variety and complexity combining with a simple and positive lifestyle. Now that the time for a farewell came up, I just try to think of it, what i did like the most. Its the sunrise and sunset, when the sun starts a play between green, violet, blue and red to say good morning and good night! When the light is dipping skyscrapers, clouds and water into a surreal set that could compete with fictional fantastic paintings of Dali. So much perfection that you can barely find it anywhere else than in nature.
Beside that of course, people in Sydney love their beaches and lifestyle, same do I. Surry Hills as a cultural and art platform, with all those little details, that makes it just perfect to live in.

Of course I try not to praise this city or this country to much, of course they do have problems as well, like every country in this world. But living in Sydney for those few months was the best time in my life and looking back by now proofs me, that its been a reasonable adoration.
